What is grokbot.se?
grokbot.se is a guide to Grok Bot, xAI's app for named AI coworkers with their own cloud computer, signed in via a Cursor account. The goal is to help you set up your own Bots in a structured way: specialized roles, clear jobs and Don'ts, skills before routines, and approvals where it matters.
The content is based on official docs (docs.x.ai/grok-bot, cursor.com/help/grok-bot) and what the official @bot account has shipped on X. Last updated 6 September 2026. The product changes week by week, so check news and the sources below if something does not match.
The guide is run by Roore AB. The structure here is the same one we use when we build flows for companies: a clear job, clear limits, and a human who approves before anything proceeds. Like the approach but do not want to build it yourself? Then we do it.

Responsibility for automation
When you set up automated bots, you are responsible for what they do. Write clear Don'ts and understand the consequences before you run bots in production. We take no responsibility for damage, data loss, or other problems.
Quota and cost
Grok Bot is included with paid Cursor, SuperGrok, and X Premium+ plans and has its own weekly quota. When that runs out, on-demand billing can take over if you have enabled it. You are responsible for watching Usage & Billing. Linking SuperGrok/X Premium+ to a Cursor account is permanent.
Data protection
Grok Bot requires cloud storage (Legacy Privacy Mode must be off). All of your Bots share one cloud computer with logins, cookies, and files. Read xAI's and Cursor's privacy policies. Never put sensitive data or passwords somewhere you do not understand how they are handled.
